Job description

Development, characterization and optimization of SSB towards project KPIs including failure and post-mortem analysis.
Investigation of physical-chemical and electrochemical properties of solid electrolytes, electrodes and cell components.
Project management and management of laboratory staff.
Data analysis and interpretation. Writing project proposals, technical reports, patent applications, conference abstracts and scientific manuscripts.
Participate in technology transfer and scale-up of the developed materials and technologies.
Perform literature and patent search to identify new materials, technologies and processes.

Requirements

Education:

PhD in Electrochemistry / Physics / Material Science

Languages:

English

Knowledge:

Excellent knowledge of technical electrochemistry, advanced batteries, and material science.

3+ years of direct experience in the lithium battery R&D environment (SSB, Li-ion, Li-metal etc.).

Conceptualization of the R&D activities in the field of cell development and characterization.

Solid knowledge and hands-on experience on assembly, manipulation and comprehensive testing of coin and pouch cells.

Solid knowledge and hands-on experience on main electrochemical (EIS, CV, galvanostatic cycling etc.) and physical-chemical (FE-SEM, XRD, FTIR, XPS etc.) characterization methods.

Observations:

Synthesis and processing of composites.
