Job description

CIDETEC is looking for a candidate to join the Facilities Maintenance team as support staff.

Your Contribution

You will become part of a cutting-edge research center focused on sustainability and the circular economy, which has brought electrification to our roads and is already working toward a 100% sustainable future.

Your role will involve:

Receiving Materials

  • Order verification: Review purchase orders and ensure that received materials match what was requested.

  • Quality inspection: Check that products or materials are in good condition and meet quality standards.

  • Recording and documentation: Enter information about received materials into the inventory system.

  • Proper storage: Place materials in the appropriate warehouse area, following organization and safety guidelines.

  • Return management: Coordinate the return of defective or incorrect materials to suppliers.

  • Supplier communication: Maintain contact with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.

Shipping Management

  • Order preparation: Pick, pack, and label products to be shipped to clients or branches.

  • Carrier coordination: Manage logistics with transportation companies to ensure timely deliveries.

  • Shipping documentation: Issue invoices, delivery notes, and other necessary documents.

  • Shipment tracking: Monitor the status of shipped orders and resolve any delays or issues.

  • Customer returns management: Coordinate the reception of returned products and reintegrate them into the warehouse.

Other Responsibilities

  • Inventory control: Keep stock levels updated, perform regular counts, and anticipate restocking needs.

  • Warehouse safety and order: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized area.

  • Process optimization: Seek improvements in warehouse management to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Teamwork and reporting: Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, production, sales) and generate activity reports.

Requirements

Education:

Higher Vocational Training

Observations:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

A highly motivated individual is required to join a multidisciplinary team. The candidate should be capable of organizing their work to meet established deadlines and achieve set objectives.
