Job description

CIDETEC is looking for a Full-Stack engineer/computer scientist/programmer to work on the development of web and IOT applications in the Energy Materials Unit.

 

A programmer is required in the energy storage department, who is able to collaborate in the development and implementation of software solutions for the design and management of advanced lithium batteries, as well as the proposal of new ideas to improve processes and support research projects.

Responsibilities:

The developer will join the Energy Materials Unit, working on the development of various construction applications. They must be capable of carrying out several lines of work simultaneously, optimising resources and maximising results.

The developer will work independently, according to the defined work plan.

They will be responsible for developing and implementing web applications for internal use and transfer to industry. This will require programming skills with a Python or Javascript web development framework, front-end development skills, and proficiency in implementing and maintaining applications.

They will also be involved in:

  • Generating new ideas/concepts and implementing them.
  • They will assist in producing documentation related to the search for funding.
  • Strong product/market/result orientation (deadline, cost, time)

Achievement of the forecasts defined in the annual plans.

Requirements

Education:

Engineering/IT/Programming

Languages:

High level of written and spoken English

Knowledge:

The successful candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge in:

-              Python, HTML and Javascript programming or advanced programming in other similar languages and the ability to adapt

-              Experience in back-end and front-end development

-              Database design and management

-              Implementation and maintenance of web applications

Additionally, knowledge in the following areas will be an advantage:

-              Real-time system monitoring and control

-              Modern programming tools, visualisation and version control (Git)

Observations:
