Advanced Li Ion Battery Area Researcher

CIDETEC wants to recruit a highly qualified researcher specialising in the area of energy storage, capable of developing research projects in the field of advanced Li-ion batteries.

Functions:

The researcher will join the Energy Materials Unit and work on projects for both training and technology transfer to companies. He must work in such a way as to be capable of conducting several simultaneous lines of research, optimising resources and maximizing outcomes.

The researcher shall work interpedently in keeping with the work plan defined.

S/he shall take charge of developing and charactering lithium-ion batteries and advanced lithium-ion batteries, as well as the laboratory assembly and electrochemical characterization of cells in the button and pouch cell formats.

 In addition, s/he will participate in:

• Generating and implementing new ideas/concepts.
• Collaborating in creating the documentation related to the search for funding.
• A clear product/market/outcome orientation (time frames, costs, times)
• Fulfilling the projections defined in the annual plans.
• Continuous SOA/market surveillance.
