Job description

Duties:

The researcher will join the Storage Systems Unit, working on training projects and/or transfer to companies. The successful candidate will have to carry out the work in such a way that allows them to carry out several lines of research simultaneously, optimising resources and maximising results.

 

The successful candidate will join a project team led by the Project Manager (PM) working autonomously in accordance with the defined work plan.

 

In addition, they will participate in:

 

  • The generation of new ideas/concepts and their execution.
  • The generation of new opportunities.
  • The preparation of technical documentation.

Preparation of the documentation related to the quest for financing

Requirements

Education & Training:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Languages:

Fluency in both spoken and written English.

 

Expertise:

The successful candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of:

  • Mechanical design.
  • Manufacturing processes: sheet metal folding, injection (metals and plastic), composite materials.
  • Joining systems: bolted joints, flexible joints, welding.
  • Use of 3D design tools (preferably CATIA)
  • Mechanical simulation design and the use of FEM analysis tools (preferably ANSYS)
  • Thermal analysis and resolution using CFD tools (preferably ANSYS fluent)
  • Hydraulic calculations and cooling system planning.
  • MATLAB and Simulink.

 

Comments:

A highly motivated person with an interest in research and innovation who will be part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be able to organise their work within the established deadlines and meet the defined objectives.

Having spent time abroad and having more than 3 years of work experience would be considered an advantage.
